Editorial Policy

At MintBurrow, the goal is simple: give you money-saving information you can actually trust and use. Here’s exactly how content on this site is created.

Who writes the content

Content is created and overseen by Dave Parker, a high school teacher with a background in business. That combination matters: the business side helps me understand money topics properly, and the teaching side helps me explain them in plain, simple language.

How articles are researched

For each article, I gather information from a range of credible sources — including official websites, reputable publications, and the real-world experiences people share in communities, forums, and product reviews. When I describe what works for people, I’m reflecting genuine reported experiences, summarized honestly (“many people report…”) rather than invented claims.

How I use AI tools

I use modern AI research and writing tools to help gather information and organize first drafts efficiently. However, AI is only the starting point. Every article is then:

  • Reviewed and fact-checked by me personally
  • Edited for accuracy, clarity, and tone
  • Checked so that prices, specifications, and claims reflect reliable sources
  • Given a genuine human perspective before publishing

I believe in being open about this. AI helps me work faster, but the judgment, verification, and final responsibility are always human — mine.

Accuracy and updates

Money information changes — prices, offers, and app features especially. I do my best to keep articles current and update them when things change. If you ever spot something that’s outdated or incorrect, please email me at hello@mintburrow.com and I’ll fix it.

Not financial advice

Everything on MintBurrow is for general information and education only. I’m not a licensed financial advisor, and nothing here is personalized financial, legal, or tax advice. Always consider your own situation and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
